Free Paint Programs
I use this program the most. “Paint.net”
Take a look at the screen shot to see what it’s about.
I use Paint.net to re size and crop images all the time. It’s very handy stuff!
It loads fast and has all the tools you need for making a quick button or banner.
This one ( the GIMP ), is the best friend of many a webmaster.
The “Gimp” (graphic image manipulation program).
Why?. Because it’s free open source soft ware.
In this case free and good go together. It’s really useful stuff!
Script-Fu is the key to getting started fast. It makes the logos.
Take a look at the screen shots to see where to look for it (Script-Fu).
After you type in a name it will make a new window with the image in it.
These are two that I use all the time.
